
The University of Maimi's main campus is located in Coral Gables, Florida. The University of Florida is located in Gainsville Florida. It has about 12,000 students receiving undergraduate degrees, 4,000 getting masters degrees, and 1500 getting a PhD's. The annual tuition including room is about $18,000 a year. The faculty student ratio for the University of Miami(Florida) is 18 to1, which means for every 18 students there is 1 teacher.

The Florida Gator football program is one of the finest in the country. They belong to the SEC conference which is one of the toughest in the nation. They are the reigning champions in college football. They defeated Florida State University 52-20 in the Sugar Bowl. Their quaterback Danny Werful has won many awards including the MVP of the Sugar Bowl, The Heisman Trophy, and the award for the most touchdown passes in the country. The team has a great coach in Steve Spurier and hopes to keep on wining.
Florida State University is located in Tallhassee, Florida. The student enrollment is 17,521 for the 96-97 school year. FSU has an outstanding medical school which is located about 10 miles from the main campus. The student to faculty ratio is 21 to 1. It has a well devolped sports program which include24 varsity sports. The two most well known are football and baseball. The football team has won over 11 championships.
