Andy Garcia is a great actor and this web page is to honor him and all his accomplishments. He was born in Havana, Cuba, but 5 years later when Castro came to power, Garcia and his family fled to the US. He had a hard time adjusting to his new life in Miami, Florida. He knew little English and his family did menial jobs to get by. But the menial jobs soon ended when Garcia's father, Rene established a multi-million dollar fragrance company from scratch. And eventually, Garcia's good looks and athletic aptitude made him popular in high school. But Hepatitis and Mononucleosis kept him at home during his senior year. It was during the time in his bed that the acting bug bit him.

So after his high school graduation, Garcia enrolled at Miami International for acting classes. After this, he headed out west, doing odd jobs to make money. After his brief try at being a stand up comedian, Garcia got the part of a gang member on Hill Street Blues soon after he landed other small parts. But he made his break through performance in Hal Ashby's 8 Million Ways To Die . This role set his career in motion. But with all the fame he ever acquired, it never went to his head. He now has a family and a great career.

He has had many famous roles. A few of his greatest roles were:
