Mary Jo Fernandez graduated from high
school in 1989 with a solid A average. She went on to earn a tennis scholarship
to Florida International University in Miami in 1994. She is now a female
tennis superstar. Mary Jo has won several championships. Mary Jo was born
on August 19, 1971 in the Dominican Republic. Some of her hobbies are golf,
wave running and water sking. She also just enjoys being outdoors. Mary
Jo is also a national spokesperson for Cities In School/Burger King Academy
program aimed to stop school drop out. Mary Jo is 5'9 1/2" and 140
lbs. Her current residence is Miami, Florida, USA. Mary Jo won 1995 Indian
Wells, 1994 Brighton, 1993 Strasbourg and Indian Wells in singles. Her highest
rank in singles was No. 4 which she reached on Oct. 22 - Nov. 4, 1990.
