Art Work: You will do some type of art. We will then either scan it or take a digital photo of it to send it in to the class. You must leave enough time at the end of the week to work with me in the CALC with the scanner or digital camera!
Step One: Do your art.
Step Two: If possible, scan the art and save it to your GALatin folder. If it is a sculpture, see me and we will take a digital photo.
Step Three: Launch Fireworks on the computer. Open your digital image.
Step Four: Go to "modify" in the menu bar and choose "image size". Set the width of the image to 300 pixels.
Step Five: Go to "file" on the menu bar and choose "export preview" A window will appear.
Step Six: Above the image will be a bar called "saved settings". Click on this and choose "jpeg smaller file". Click "Export" at the bottom of the window, then be sure you are exporting (it's the same as saving) to your GALatin folder.
Step Seven: Attach the image to an email message. Address the message to mythos@onlineclass.com. In the Subject area, type "Art Work by Steve B." In the Cc area, type lburnet so that a copy will go to me.
