Dear Cousin Toco,
Hi! This is Bob the Toucan. Today in tropical America, I ate a lot of berries. They were very tasty! I shared it with my girlfriend, Emily, who is the only other toucan I fly around with.
Today, an eagle tried to eat me. It was at night. I went into our tree hole, and since I have black feathers, the eagle couldn't see me. It almost killed me!
My girlfriend and I had a catch with a berry. My girlfriend and I do that a lot during our free time. It is very fun. I saw a toco toucan today, and it was very big. In fact, the toco toucans are the biggest type of toucan in the world. Toco toucans can grow to be twenty-five inches! I just realized that you are a toco toucan, too!
The reason that I have never fallen off the tree that I perched on yesterday is because of my very strong talons.
