Dear Loggers,
I am a phenocomis longicudus AKA a Red Tree Vole. One day I was running
on the floor of the ancient forest, which I don't do very often, and I heard a loud
buzz, and then I saw a tree falling and about to crush me. I was very lucky to get
away from the tree that YOU cut down. I would like to speak with you face to
face. I don't leave the branches of the Douglas Fir tree so you can find me there.
I'm 17 cm. long, I am red on my back, and white on my belly. I also look like a
mouse with a long black tail.
