William Penn’s second wife was Hannah Callowhill. She had a son and his name was “John the American”. Hannah Callowhill got married when William Penn’s first wife died. After William Penn died she capably managed the Province until 1726. She joined William Penn on his journey to Pennsylvania from 1699 to 1701.
