The Process:

Begin by selecting your manner of travel: train, plane, car, hot air balloon, etc.

Decide which season you will be able to get away.

Why do you want to go to this place? (For example, I want to go to Venezuela to see the Amazon and Angel Falls).

How long will you stay? You may need to tailor your trip around the number of things to do and see.

Choose your accommodations: family, friends, hotel, hut, castle, etc.

Using the Internet study the attractions that one might wish to visit: distinctive museums, cities, famous sites, i.e. Indian ruins.

Consider the outdoor activities that you want to be involved in based upon climate and terrain.

What are the most popular tourist souvenirs? What do you need to buy for friends and family?

What is the currency? How much money will you spend?

Pack a bag with the necessary clothing!

While you are there, keep a journal of your adventures!
