Comes the night, comes the moon

The stars twinkling afar.

The planets are seldomly seen

But visible is the star.

Some believe their fate is held,

In the hands of the moon.

Some look to the stars for advice

In happiness and gloom.

Think about what's going on,

In the outer space,

The stars aren't only beautiful

They give our sky a face.

Without the moon we wouldn't know

From early or from late.

We would not know many things,

Moonlight or the date.

We'll send ourselves far away,

Into that gorgeous land.

Where will we be light years gone

In fire, water or sand?

The feeling of no gravity

Most will never know.

But I for one am interested

My dream is that I'll go.
