Each one of you will be assigned one of the historical personae linked below to study.
Throughout the year, you will work on a variety of researched and creative projects, becoming an "expert" on your persona. Below are some of the celebrities of the ancient world, all Roman or somehow connected to Rome.

Project 1 --Due Tues, December 16: Research Paper/Oral Presentation
Project 2 --Due Thurs, February 19: Art Project
Project 3 --Due Wed, April 22: Creative Writing
Project 4 --Due Tues, June 2: Symposium
You will receive a more specific handout about each project as it approaches.
You will be responsible for your own character and four others of your choice on the final exam, so take notes and pay attention to others' work.
