Do you know why our state is called Pennsylvania? Third graders from Germantown Academy learned this fact along with other information about William Penn, when we visited his country home, Pennsbury Manor this fall. During our visit we toured his home and even wrote with quill pens. Mrs. Vieille’s class drew illustrations and wrote descriptions of scenes from Pennsbury Manor. Please enjoy our projects.
