On May 29, 2004, a seven-year-old
snowcracker named Selina appeared from the clouds, playing with her best friend, Pooh the bumblebee. They were in Magatarum,Phillipines. They were just
taking their daily fly. Then Selina said, “Would you like to sing in the Banuck jungle in the Banuck Mountains with me?” “That’s your home, right?” asked Pooh. “It’s safe, isn’t it?” “Yes,” said Selina. “You don’t have to worry.”
So they flew out to the Banuck Mountain jungle and as they approached the jungle, Selina realized Pooh was gone! Selina searched the whole town. First she stopped at Goldilock’s Pastry Shop.
Selina asked Mr. Punto, “Have you seen Pooh?” “No,” Mr. Punto replied, “but I have a short favor to ask you?” “all right,” replied Selina. “This family here can’t decide if they should get the insamada or mamon.” Selina said, “I think they should get the mamon.”
“Maraming salamat” (thank you), the family and Mr. Punto said. Selina replied, “Your welcome.”
Selina flew to the prime minister in Manoag. She asked the prime minister if he saw Pooh, but he had no idea. She flew back to her home in Magatarum, Philippines in the Banuck Mountain jungle. She ate her usual lychees, grapes, and mangoes, and drank fresh water from the Banuck river and trees.
For dessert, she ate coconut meat with sticky rice and coconut milk to drink. She bathed in the cool waters of the river, and set out to find Pooh.
She went to the Orchid Garden, and took an orchid flower from the northeast tree. She took another one. She put one flower in her hair and one in her hand. She flew to the top of the mountain. It took six hours. When she reached Sunlight Point, she let out loud, but beautiful singing. Pooh heard it from Cebu.
Pooh traveled southeast to Magatarum and to Selina. Pooh was sure the voice was Selina’s because Selina always sang beautifully.
Pooh took two hours to get back. Selina got worried. She called out again. All of a sudden, Pooh bumped into Selina! Pooh said, “Surprise!” And they lived happily ever after.
