At school, some second grade students created humorous comic strips to share their understanding of homophones.  Homophones are words that sound alike but are spelled differently and have different meanings, such as one and won. After writing homophone riddles, the students had fun selecting backgrounds and characters for the comic strip frames.  They typed their homophone riddles in dialogue bubbles above the characters.  It was quite a feat, even though the children didn’t use their feet!  Happy homophone hunting!
