I
discovered a dinosaur in Hawaii!
Hi, my name is Peter. I was surfing in Hawaii when I saw something
really big and strange. It was as big as a bus with spikes and horns.
It was running across the sand. It sounded like a tree frog.
I stopped surfing and went to the sand as fast as I could.
That is when I noticed it was a dinosaur. The dinosaur stopped running
so I tried to touch it but it ran away.
The dinosaur looked like the cousin of the carnotaurus. It was sand
brown with whitish sand stripes. When the dinosaur stopped running
again, I realized it was the Coelolophomegaloraptorbronto-ceratopanoplo.
The name means “hollow giant thief thunder horn armored”.
This dinosaur lived back in the Cretaceous period. He ate meat because
he has big sharp teeth.
The dinosaur is now living at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia.
When everyone asks me how does it feel to have discovered a dinosaur I say,
“It felt great to see a real live dinosaur. I was only scared
for one second”. This is a picture of the dinosaur discovered
in Hawaii.
