A Legend
Wonder Girls
by Hannah (Plays Like
a Seal) and Meredith (Flower Child)
A long time ago there lived two girls
named Shooting Star and Thunder Girl. They were best friends.
They had a dream about going on a journey, but they didn't have
a dream about coming back. They went on the long journey they
had dreamed about, but then they remembered they didn't have a
dream about coming back. So they went searching for the village.
Then they said, "It was getting late. We better go to bed."
They woke up the next morning and started to search for
their village. They
found their wigwams, but no one was there, so they fell asleep,
and then when they woke up they were in sacks and a fire was below
them. They saw a giant man out side fishing. Then they remembered
it was Sack Man. No one was there because they were hiding from
him. He was coming in and they were getting scared. They needed
to find a way to get out of the wigwam. Then they noticed they
had their bow and arrow. They started to talk about ways to get
out. They used the rope from their bow to climb down and the arrow
to make a hole. Then Sack Man went out again, because he had to
get his fishing net. Thunder Girl was ahead of Shooting Star.
Once they got down, Shooting Star grabbed Thunder Girl's hand
and saw a hole. Shooting Star ran as fast as she could. They ran
through the hole and went all the way home.
